Valley Machine Announces $2.1 Million Expansion, Creating 15 New Jobs

Calhoun County, AL – Valley Machine, a division of Blastcrete Equipment, LLC, has announced a $2.1 million expansion of its operations, creating 15 new jobs and further strengthening the area’s manufacturing sector. The investment will support the adoption of advanced machining technologies and equipment, enhancing Valley Machine's capabilities as a precision machine shop and supplier to a variety of industries. The expansion positions the company to increase production capacity, improve efficiencies, and meet growing customer demand.


Scott Knighton, Blastcrete Co-CEO, shared, “This investment reflects Blastcrete’s long-term commitment to Calhoun County and confidence in the strength of our local workforce. Valley Machine specializes in precision machining, fabrication, material processing, and the production of high-quality components for a variety of industrial applications. This latest investment shows the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.


The investment will support the creation of 15 new jobs, adding to the company's current workforce of 130 employees and reinforcing its long-term commitment to manufacturing in Calhoun County.

The expansion is currently underway and is expected to be completed in the next year.
